Channing 'could win a medal' at Pokerlympics

Neil Channing would be among Great Britain's best hopes for a medal if a poker Olympics was ever held.
At least this is the belief of Daniel Smyth, who wrote that the Londoner would be among his five "medal contenders" from the UK at a Pokerlympics.
The 2008 Irish Poker Open winner was listed alongside World Poker Tour (WPT) and European Poker Tour titlist Roland De Wolfe, World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet holders Ram Vaswani and Praz Bansi and online ace Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman.
With no major live titles to his name, Moorman is perhaps least well known of the five competitors, but he is not without his accolades.
He currently leads Bluff Magazine's online player of the year competition for 2008.
Dave Ulliott is perhaps the biggest name missing from the list.
The WSOP and WPT titlist captained Team GB to victory at the recent Poker Nations Cup - the second time in three years that the country has been triumphant in the event.
