'Original concept' is key to Manchester235's success

Manchester235 has proven to be such a big hit in England's north-west because of its originality, according to its marketing manager Siobhan McGoff.

The venue has been one of the quickest growing casinos in the UK since it opened in October 2006 - and the spokeswoman claims the site was expected do well right from the start.

"We always knew this concept for a venue would be a great success. There is nothing like it in Manchester and two years on we have over 80,000 members," she remarked.

Situated at the Victoria Great Northern Warehouse in Manchester city centre, the venue cost £13 million to develop and covers 46,000 sq ft.

It features a number of the most popular casino games, as well as two restaurants, bars, a VIP room and an entertainment area.

Famous people to have attended in recent months include Manchester United footballers Carlos Tevez and Rio Ferdinand and Coronation Street star Kym Ryder.
